কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Composition
The value of Time
Introduction: The value of time is limitless which it can not be
measured. The value of time arises from the fact that human life is short but
he has to do a lot of works within the short span of time. Each work requires
some time. It the work is not finished in time it may not be finished at all. That
explains why time is so valuable and it should not be lost for nothing.
Why its valuable : Time goes on like the tide of a river and it never
waits for anybody. Lost time can never be found again. Misuse of time is a
great crime, and it makes life barren like a desert. He is really great who
makes the most of every moment in useful works. Success is bound to come to his
doorstep. Man should utilize time properly. He should be prepared to spend some
time for reading, writing, taking rest and recreation. It he becomes forgetful
of time he is sure to lose and fail. No great work can be done without a strong
sense of time. The children should learn the value of time from their
childhood. They can learn it at home or at school from their parents, teachers
and superiors. This can be better learnt from examples of their superiors. It
is a part of discipline that makes life worthwhile and meaningful.
Conclusion : Of course, to be loyal to time does not mean that
one has to be a slave of time. Value of time ennobles a person and gives him
fame. Slavery is blind subservience and should spend every minute in useful
works. This will make his life worth living and glorious.
Discipline
Introduction : Man is a social being. He can not live alone. But
in the society he can not do anything according to his sweet will. As a member
of the society he is bound to abide by the rules and regulations of the
society. This obedience to social rules is discipline.
Value of discipline :- The value of discipline is indescribable in our
life. It helps men to live in society with peace and happiness. It is the basis
of all the virtues. Without discipline nothing can be improved in a country.
Nature shows a glaring example of discipline. The earth, the moon, the stars
and all the planet move around the sun following discipline strictly.
Necessity of discipline : discipline is must in society. It is imperative in
the life of soldiers. In schools and colleges discipline is of the highest
importance. In every walk of human life discipline is an imperative necessity.
Absence of discipline means chaos and confusion. No work can be done where
there is no discipline and where chaos and confusion prevail.
Our
schools and colleges are the training centres of discipline. It any student
participates in activities subversive of the discipline of his educational
institution, he can never expect to do well. The man who does not care to abide
by the laws of the army can never make a good soldier. For the defense of his
country he can never be relied upon.
Discipline
is divine virtue. In the creation of god discipline prevails everywhere. The
sun and the moon, the planet and the stars move in their orbits in accordance
with some laws. Everything in nature proves that god id the supreme
disciplinarian.
Conclusion : Unity, faith and discipline are the three pillars
upon which human life stands. The prophet of Islam laid special stress on
discipline.
Wonders of Modern Science
Introduction : We can not think a day without science. In the
history of mankind, contribution of scince is the greatest blessing. Science
has come to relieve mankind from suffering and ignorance. Science has given us
a lot. In almost every area we feel the influence of science.
Agriculture Advantage : Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Modern
science has contributed a lot in agricultural sector. Today hi-tech tractors
and ploughs are being used instead of ancient blunt ploughs. Modern chemical
fertilizers are being used instead of rotten garbage and cow-dung. Hi-tech
insecticide is being used to protect crops from worms and insects. Hi-breed
seeds are being invented through research, which have already brought about a
revolutionary change in agriculture.
Medical Treatment :With the help of medical science, today men are
getting long life. Biopsy and ultrasonography, E.C.G, Ultra-violet ray, X-ray
etc. can diagnose critical diseases and save people from certain death.
Complicated operations are being also possible with the help of new technology.
Bangladesh go very far in medical treatment.
Communication : Modern communication system totally depends on
science. Telephone, telex, fax, wireless, telegram, internet etc. All are great
inventions of modern science. They have brought the world colser to us. Today
we can send news and information from one corner of the world to another within
a second.
Conclusion : Science has brought us peace and prosperity for
the mankind. But we should remember that every good thing may turn bad if it is
abused. So we have to be careful about the abuse of science.
Season You like Most
Introduction : There are six season in Bangladesh. The rainy
season is the second season of them. The Bengali months ‘Ashar’ and ‘Shraban’
are called the rainy season. Sometimes it begins earlier and lasts longer. Of
all season I like the rainy season most.
The
duration of the rainy season : The rainy season is caused by monsoon. The
south-west monsoon that blows from the since then rainy season occurs in
Bangladesh. During the rainy season the sky remains cloudy.
Its good effects : Sometimes the sun is not seen in the rainy season.
During this time it rains cats and dogs. Sometimes it rains for days together.
Roads become muddy. Rivers, canals and ponds are filled with water. They
overflow their banks. Fields go under water. The rainy season is surely a
blessing for our country. Bangladesh is an agricultural country and most of the
crops are dependent on the rain water. Current of rain water makes our soil
fertile. It washes away the filth and firt from the earth’s surface. It also
purifies the atmosphere. Men can easily go from one place to another by boat.
Its unpleasant aspects : The rainy season is not blessing for us all the
times. In the rainy season the road become muddy and slippery. The poor and the
day labourer suffer much. They can not go out of doors for work. Cattle have to
suffer much. Various diseases like cholera, typhoid, dysentery break out.
Sometimes there are floods washes away our crops and houses.
Conclusion : Though the rainy season has its demerits. It is
blessing to the economy of our country and the prosperity of our people. It
helps the nature to gain a new life. We always welcome this season and enjoy
its beauty.
My Future Plan of Life
My Aim in Life
Introduction : Many people have no definite aim in life. They
are like ships without rudders and without goals. So a man who wishes to
succeed in life must have a definite aim in his life.
Description : I am still a student and I am not born with a
silver spoon in my mouth. I know that to be happy in life I must prepare myself
so that I can earn money. I must earn something sufficient to make life
comfortable. The desire for making money is not unnatural. It is money that may
help man to get power and position in a society. At the same time I also feel
an urge to serve the society. So whatever may be the aim of my life I cannot
give yp the idea of a clean, honest and pure life. The profession of a teacher
may help me to lead such a life. Since the idea of living honourably is the noblest aim, I have decided to be a
teacher.
The
choice of a profession is actually a difficult thing. My parent’s want that I
should prepare myself for medical profession. They say that it I am a
physician, I will be able to earn and at the same time do useful service to
society. But unfortunately, I don’t have great liking for this profession. Then
shall I be a teacher? I know that a teacher in out country can not be well off.
Yet to be a teacher is to me a noble ambition. To be able to spread the light
of knowledge is itself rewarding.
Conclusion : plain living and high thinking have always been
the motto of all great teachers. So it I be a teacher, I will devote myself to
it whole-heartedly. I will do my duties in a spirit of social service.
My Hobby
Introduction : Every man has a particular hobby. Hobby is
nothing but an alternative mental occupation. A man does not depend on it for
his living. But it is an interesting way to enjoy leisure period.
Kinds :- There are different kinds of hobbies like
collecting postage stamps, coin collection, fishing, resding listening to
music, autograph collection, travelling, gardening, playing on musical
instruments, watching T.V, photography and so on. Some boys and girls like
keeping pets too.
My hobbies : Like others I have also some hobbies of my own.
They are travelling, listening music and reading books. But I must mention that
my favourite hobby is travelling. Whenever I get an opportunity, I utilize it.
The subject which we learn from the practical experience is the permanent
learning.Because we remember the permanent learning for the rest of our life.
So, by traveling we can acquire permanent knowledge. Though it is expensive, it
is most effective. Traveling refreshes our mind. But listening to music is
another hobby of myself. To get rid of mental boredom listening to music is a
way to relax quickly.
Advantage : When our mind becomes engaged in any profession,
it warks up to certain limit. Then it wants relaxation to gain more energy. So,
a sophisticated and pleasant profession needs to take the tired brain off the
burden of the major work. It is true that, what is business to one man may be a
hobby to another. Hobbies are useful in many respects. A hobby helps a lot to
those people who are engaged in works of heavy mental activities. Especially
the great thinkers, artists, great men etc. Apply their hobbies for better
purpose. Einstein used to relax himself by playing on a violin.
Disadvantage : If we show more interest in hobby our main task
may be hampered. So, hobby shoukd be taken only for enjoyment.
Conclusion : I get much pleasure by travelling and listening
to music. Hobby supplies us extra energy in performing our main task
successfully. So every one of us should have a hobby like many great men of the
world.
Newspaper
Introduction : With the sunrise, the whole world knocks at our
doors. Newspaper is the spokesman which opens the world before us. It leads
even a simple man to any corner of the world. It is a unique blessing of modern
civilization.
First published : It is hears that, the newspaper was first
published in china with the invention of paper. Among the European countries,
Venice introduced newspaper first. In our sub-continent,``The india Gazette``
was published at first in 1744. The first Bengali newspaper was “The Samacher
Darpan”. The Misssionaries of Sreeramur published it in 1818.
Description : Newspaper provides mews of various kinds. The most
important news of the day is printed on the front page in bold headlines. Less
important news is covered in the inside pages. There are pages devoted to
international news, domestic news, sports mews, cultural news, film mews etc.
Many
mews items are accompanied by coloured photographs with captions under them.
The photographs make the news vivid. Many readers like at the photos first and
then read the news items. There are also cartoons. They often satirise
important persons and organizations. All newspapers have a children`s page once
a week. Children`s own writings which include poems, stories, jokes and
paintings are printed on this page. These writing help them develop their
creative power.
The
readers also have their favourite newspapers. They take newspapers which
reflect their own political views. In reading news and views, we must exercise
our judgment. We must not believe everything we read. It is a good idea to read
more than one newspaper and compare how the same event has been presented in
both papers. This will help is arrive at our own judgment without being biased.
Conclusion : The modern civilization depends on its sincere
publication. Thus, it can be a balance of peaceful world for mankind. Newspaper
is the storehouse of knowledge. It plays an important role to keep the
international relations.

life
Introduction : Human life is divided into some periods. The period
which is spent in educational for getting education is called student life. It
is the seed time of human life. It is a period of preparation for earning
knowledge and a real life.
Duties of a student : The future of our life fully depends on the
student life. It is the sowing season of our life. The future success or
failure of a man depends on how he passes his student life. It is time of
preparation for the battle of life. Student life is free from all cares and
anxieties. A student is the future of his family and that of a nation. Its pleasure
is to acquire more and more knowledge.
The
main object of a student is to devote to his study. All his learning should aim
at cultivating good qualities. Proper use of time is the key to success. Waste
of time and energy is very much harmful. The success and happiness of a student
largely depend on it.

country. Over all, he must be very active, dutiful and sincere to his studies.
Physical Exercise
Introduction : Physical exercise means the movement of limbs of
our body. It is good for health.
Kinds : There are many kinds of physical exercise. All of
them are not suitable for all persons. Some of them are suitable for the child.
Some for the old and weak and some for the strong-bodied. Traveling, riding,
swimming, cycling, the game of football, cricket, Ha-du-du, volley-ball and
walking are good exercise.
Advantage : It is seen that many persons of ill health
improve their health by taking physical exercise. A man may possess vast wealth
still he can not be happy in life it he does not possess a good health. So
physical exercise is essential for a person either male or female. Physical
exercise increases appetite and digesting power. It strengthens the limbs and
active. An idle person is an easy prey to diseases whereas a person who takes
exercise regularly can resist the attack of any disease. Then exercise is an
abiding source of pleasure. It is also a form of discipline. It implies
self-control and accordingly, strengthens the character. It makes men capable
of enduring hardship without injury and, as the mind is affected by the body,
it gives them the power for performing better intellectual work. Since it is a
fact that no one can become the possessor of a sound mind without a sound body,
physical exercise does a lot to attain this goal.
Conclusion : We should take physical exercise regularly in
order to keep us healthy. A sound mind lies in a sound body. As health is the
source of all happiness in life, we should improve and preserve our health by
taking regular exercise.
